The Higher Education Data Sharing (HEDS) Consortium is accepting proposals for its 2017 Annual Conference to be held June 18–21, in Cincinnati, Ohio. Details on submitting a proposal are available at: http://www.hedsconsortium.org/call-for-proposals-2017/.
The HEDS conference brings together people in an informal setting to present on and discuss topics related to assessment, institutional research, institutional effectiveness, and other ways of using evidence to improve our institutions. We welcome proposals from people at all colleges and universities. HEDS membership is not required.
The HEDS conference is designed as a gathering of collegial practitioners who can learn from one another regardless of their career point, title, job responsibilities, or institution type. HEDS believes we can all work together for the benefit of our institutions. Therefore, they hold few concurrent sessions so that everyone can attend sessions together. Several meals are included in their registration fee to allow conversations from sessions to continue; and optional group dinners and outings give attendees more time to connect with colleagues at many different institutions.
